Sunday, May 18 to Saturday, May 24, 2014: N-I-P Bookcamp Work Week
Registrants arrive Sunday afternoon and leave the following Saturday morning.
Note: This is a tentative schedule; open to suggestions, revisions, and requested topics by registrants; final schedule shall be announced in spring 2014.

Afternoon, check in

7 p.m. – Free/Writing Time
10 p.m. – nightly chat for those who like to stay up late
Monday, Tuesday
6 a.m. – morning chat for those who get up early
7:30 a.m. – Breakfast
8:30-11:45 a.m. – Classes
Classes will go over insights that consider the key elements of your novel in depth: character development, plot and story, setting, and voice and style issues. These elements need to work well and work together to make your novel better. The instructors will provide the professional guidance to steer emerging novelists to approaches that work well and appeal to literary agents, editors, publishers (and their marketing departments), and most of all, to readers.
